In the background at Apex Analytics, Robert Power expands the job title, Bookkeeper, to do what is needed to make sure Apex functions while the rest of the staff consult.  From budget tracking for various projects, financial reporting, overseeing payroll and onto administrative tasks to HR needs and more, he operates with a problem-solving intent and service mindset.

 

Robert is driven more by curiosity, intuition, a sense of the mystic, and a deep desire to understand the world rather than following a career path. He found himself after college and starting adult life in the business office of a small graduate school solving accounting issues and then managing the crisis intervention department for a non-profit health clinic. He has served as a management training consultant throughout Asia working with both small and large organizations including Apple, DHL, Mobile Oil, Molex, even Wang Computer at one point before his work with Apple.  His life path then took him to serving clients in various alternative healing modalities in the United States, Mexico and Asia. Bookkeeping was done when needed, both for his companies in Asia, and for a small retreat center in Mexico. The path diverged again and he worked with a company doing residential water treatment installations and services and he designed websites and did all the bookkeeping for that company as well. He has done deep inquiries and studies in nutrition, movement, voice, exercise, cardiovascular health, and much more.  He also pursues optimal health as a "longevity" strategy while raising his son and passing what has been learned to at least one member of the "device-dominated" generation.
